BEHIND KATHARINE EDWARDS

 Katharine Edwards grew up in Vancouver and learned to sew as a child, making and designing her own clothes. She then spent 34 years in England where for a time she worked in residential property development in Mayfair and Belgravia in London. Working with top designers, Katharine experienced first hand the transformation of elegant houses into exquisite homes with the addition of quality bespoke curtains, bedding and soft furnishings.

  

Katharine went on to train in the classical City & Guilds method of soft furnishings and began many years of creating top quality soft furnishings for residential properties from country homes to London apartments for private clients and designers in the south of England from her workroom near Henley on Thames. In 2005 Katharine moved her workroom to Vancouver and now brings over 30 years experience in the industry to the Vancouver market. ​
